Kidzapalooza is THE concert event of the Summer for rock friendly families. From getting temporary tatz, a punk rock hair do, jamming out rock band style, learning a new riff and even throwing down a hip hop rhyme, Kidz will party down with their parents for an amazing interactive 3 day musical experience!

Kids 10 and under get in free! Accompanied by a ticket-holding grown up.
School of Rock Jam Tent
Members of Paul Green's School of Rock All Stars will be on site for workshops and assist kidz in handling different types of instruments. Kidz are free to rock out on any and all instruments. There will be a full rock band set up that includes: drums, mics, guitars, amps, bass and keyboards.
There will a dance floor set up in the shade for kids to learn break dancing with the Brickheadz. Learn break dancing fundamentals and even spin on your head.
Double Dutch Workshops:
Jump in rhythm while swinging through the ropes. Learn some new skills and watch amazing footwork.
Hip Hop Workshop:
The Q Brothers will teach kids how to scratch, beatbox and rhyme. Take home a CD of your phat track!
Hairdooz with Siren Salon:
A chance for kidz to be rock-styled using environmentally kid friendly products. A pink mo-hawk will have you in style for the festival.
Tattooz by Small Paul:
A combination of body painting and temporary tattoos are available at this station. Kidz will receive a customized 'tattoo' or face and body painting courtesy of the friendly Small Paul artists! Their character creators are on hand to make you look tough with a Skurvy 'tattoo' on your bicep, or friendly with a Julius face painting.

Arts at Play:
hosted by the Chicago Parks District. A fun area where kids can create a musical instrument using recycled material. Bring your musical imagination!
The Inferno Studio Mobile Recording Studio:
In 2006, The Parkways Foundation premiered the mobile recording van in this area to give kidz the opportunity to record their newly acquired skillz on CD. This was theirs to take home as a Kidzapalooza 2006 keepsake. This has been such a huge hit, that we're bringing it back in a new way for '08! A partnership between the Chicago Park District and the School of the Art Institute Chicago, the mobile studio will be on hand at Kidzapalooza and provide kids with the opportunity to record sounds from recycled material.
John Yost's Rhythm Revolution provided by Remo:
Teaching the kidz rock rhythm on all sorts of drums at the end of everyday lets shake the City of Chicago!
Make Your Own Tote with Julius and Small Paul:
Kidz can make their own environmentally friendly totes with Julius and Small Paul (by Paul Frank)! Kidz get to choose screens, pick their ink, select a tote, and take home their very own customized Small Paul tote bag.
Lifeway Kefir Yogurt:
Providing free samples of Lifeway Probugs, organic kefir in a spill free pouch for the pickiest kidz.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation:
A nationwide fund-raising movement for childhood cancer research. Alex's Lemonade Stand will be accepting donations in return for some ice cold lemonade.
