It’s no mystery why Chicago’s own Suzy Brack was one of the top 10 finalists in VH1’s national Are You Diva Enough? competition. A seasoned rocker (and actress, having appeared in several TV shows and independent films) who was once voted one of the top musicians in the city, Brack is the kind of performer who can grab a crowd with her first note and not let ’em down until she’s good and ready. She’s eclectic, too, having performed everything from art-folk to swinging jazz to punk to, most recently, with her band the New Jack Lords, red-hot rockabilly.
