Tiny Masters of Today
Day/Time: Friday, 3:30pm & Saturday, 12.15pm
http://tinymasters.net/

The Tiny Masters of Today are 14-year-old Iva (vocals, guitar, bass and percussion) and his sister and his 12-year-old-sister, Ada (vocals, keyboards, percussion), and they are already cooler than most of us will ever be, unless your name happens to be David Bowie. And even he’s a fan. Bowie called the Brooklyn-based Tiny Masters’ song “Stickin It to the Man” both “an instant classic” and “genius.” “This 2:43 minute slice of detached cool comes across like Suicide crashing a Shaggs rehearsal. How can you resist?” Even better is “Hologram World,” from the preteen sibling punks’ debut album, Bang Bang Boom Cake. The killer, creepy video was co-directed by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
