The Los Angeles-based Q Brothers are GQ, a part-time actor who appeared in the movies Drumline and What’s the Worst That Could Happen?, and JQ, who produced the Grommits album Smashing and serves as front man for the Chicago rock band Them Vs. Them. The duo’s brand of hip-hop doesn’t obsess over thuggery or drug dealin’ but instead pure fun. The Q Brothers’ album The Feel Good Album of the Year mixes jazz, rock, R&B and electronica.
